How's this for a delicate piece of CNC machining?
No, I can't admit the boards were made by me, they were sourced for a client.
They could be made here which would open up even more design options of course.
However the very fine detailing machined into them was done in the shed.
The most delicate of engraving with a 'V' cutter to take just 2mm of material away.
The details were then filled with an epoxy resin. Once cured the surface was finely machined and sanded before oiling the whole board with a food-safe natural oil.
Result: One happy client who can serve pool-side treats on some unique bamboo trays.
